Slash And Laugh

This is a game created for the Global Game Jam 2024, with the theme: Make me laugh.

Take the role of an asylum escapist and fight your way through out the dark, gritty city.

Be careful though. Your lust for blood and the fun from slicing the asylum guards skyrockets.. Your mind starts drifting.. You start imagining colorful places, you imagine that suddenly your knife turns into a gun, and that the guards that you were just slicing became evil rabbits that shoot you with fireballs. Your laughter is uncontrollable and your psychotic brain drifts in and out of reality, carnival songs play in the background, but will you manage to survive this madness? Or will you fall victim of your own sanity?

Be warned: This bullet hell game is hard. Will you manage to reach the final boss, and uncover the fate of your character?

Note: This game may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
